September is upon us, and at AskGamblers, it symbolises one thing only: Charity Month.
During the Charity Night on 15 June, AskGamblers collected €75,000 thanks to our partners who bid to secure promotion on the most sought-after positions on our website. After careful consideration, AskGamblers decided to divert the collected funds to two organisations: the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and UNICEF.
AskGamblers decided to divert €40,000 to the Danish Refugee Council, more precisely, to activities aimed at enhancing child-friendly spaces (CFS) services in Tanzania’s Nduta and Nyarugusu refugee camps.
According to DRC, the funding will be used to:
Funding of €40,000 will support these activities from September to December 2023, affecting 2,500 children, according to DRC’s estimates.
For the third year, we partnered with UNICEF to help the organisation bring much-needed relief to children from vulnerable backgrounds.
The chosen project, Investing in Core Resources for Core Results for Children in Serbia, will receive €35,000 to help the most disadvantaged children, such as children living in large families, rural households and Roma settlements through provision of:
AskGamblers hopes that this investment of regular resources in core results will help UNICEF with three essential tools: the predictability to plan and implement long-term programmes for children; the flexibility to address challenging contexts to achieve durable and tangible results, and the efficiency that comes from reducing transaction costs and maximising the resources that can go directly to children.
Our charity efforts wouldn’t be so fruitful if it weren’t for our faithful partners. Back in June, they helped us collect the funding to €75,000, securing the most attractive spots on our website:

A special thanks goes to Atlas SEO, the company that pledged money to the good causes without bidding for a position.
We thank the partners who pledged the record-breaking sum and hope they will continue to join our efforts to help those in need in the coming years.
